- Verify the port is capable of Gen 4 transmission speeds.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and load test the PCIe I/O functionality of your PC.
- For use with compatible PassMark testing software (see below).
Benchmark Data Transfer
Check that data can be sent and received from the port
Check PCIe error rates and transmission speed (16Gbits/sec per lane, up to 7000MBps when using x4 edge) in Windows
Benchmark your PC's PCIe slots
Check if your PCIe slots are Gen4 16Gb/s Gen3 8Gb/s or 5Gb/s or 2.5Gb/s
Fits into x4 PCIe slot. An adapter is required for x1 (not included).
Stress Testing
Verify that the system remains stable under long periods of load
Concurrently check multiple PCIe slots at the same time
Advanced Error Reporting
Monitor physical and link layer errors during stress testing
Reported errors include
- Poisoned TLP (Uncorrectable)
- Malformed TLP (Uncorrectable)
- Bad TLP (Correctable)
- Bad DLLP (Correctable)
- Flow Control Protocol Error (Uncorrectable)
- Replay Timer Timeout (Correctable)
